A 28 year old in court for the rape of an 80 year old granny

A 28 year old man, Nonofang Radidery who is accused of raping an 80 year old granny has been granted bail by the Francistown Magistrate court.

It is alleged that Radidery sexually assaulted the elderly woman on the 9th of this month at Matopi near Matsiloje village.

The granny was alone at her home on that fateful day.

Prosecutor, Sargent Joseph Mojela told the court that their investigations are still ongoing and they have sent some exhibits to the forensic lab for testing.

The unemployed Radidery who was not asked to plea will appear before court on the 25th of this month for mention.
