Lobatse resident faces trial for sexually molesting a minor

A 35 year old man, Tefo ‘Jerry’ Lesau of Woodhall I ward in Lobatse faces trial for allegedly sexually molesting a nine-year-old girl on two occasions.

The accused is alleged to have on April 16, 2016, at around eight in the evening in Lobatse, had sexual intercourse with the minor who was in his custody.

Lesau is also alleged to have on a second occasion on May 30 had sexual intercourse with the same child.

Prosecutor in the case, sub-inspector Bakani Tsayang of Woodhall police station said police are still awaiting exhibits from police forensic laboratories.

The accused person is on bail and the case will mention on 15th May.
