Part of the student community at the University of Botswana who were part of student demonstrations over allowances have been charged with different offences including five SRC members who have also received their charges.
The UB SRC vice president Dikosha Dikosha said the school management served them with letters of disciplinary actions for a number of offences.
He said the five SRC members received the letters yesterday morning while other students are yet to receive theirs.
He further said the charges are just a mockery and bother in addition they are based on lies and allegations without sustainable evidence.
Dikosha added that as the SRC they have attempted to reach out to the school management through a letter which is yet to receive a response.
