The Botswana National Sport Commission has confirmed it will not renew the contract of CEO Tuelo Serufho, whose term ends on May 31st.
In a statement, the Commission thanked Serufho for his service but gave no reasons for the decision and did not name a successor.
The leadership change comes amid growing calls for better governance, funding, and infrastructure in the country’s sports sector.
More details are expected in the coming weeks.

It caught my attention, especially given the ongoing discussions about improving governance, funding, and infrastructure in the country’s sports sector. Changes like this often spark uncertainty, but they also open doors for fresh ideas and approaches. It made me reflect on how organizations can better support their communities while balancing transparency and accountability. On a different note, while exploring ways people engage with sports online, I came across a detailed overview of 1Win Ghana at https://1-win.com.gh/bonuses/, which explains the available bonuses, cashback offers, weekly promotions, and other incentives that enhance participation and experience. It’s interesting to see how structured incentives can mirror real-world sports management, offering motivation, engagement, and a clear framework for users.
