KGOMOKASITWA TRIPLE MURDER

A Botswana Defence Force (BDF) Lance Corporal, Moagi Mokomeng, has been denied bail again by the Lobatse Magistrate Court in connection with a gruesome incident that occurred on February 25 in Kgomokasitwa.

Mokomeng faces nine charges, including three counts of murder, attempted murder, arson, and defilement. He is accused of killing a woman and her two grandchildren before allegedly setting their home ablaze.

The court ruled that Mokomeng will remain in custody until the case is transferred to the High Court, where he may lodge a bail application. He is expected to reappear in court on June 25, 2025.
