Botswana Urged to Broaden AI Education

AI experts have urged Botswana to broaden artificial intelligence education as the country prepares for a technology-driven economy.

AI expert Kitso Motlhabane says the country needs a practical and inclusive approach that equips citizens at all levels, warning that AI should not be viewed as a tool only for IT specialists.

He adds that broader AI literacy can boost productivity, support economic diversification and keep Botswana competitive globally.
