IPELEGENG WORKERS TO RECEIVE PAY RISE AS MEAL ALLOWANCE ENDS.

Government has announced a wage increase for Ipelegeng workers, effective April 1st, 2025.
According to a communique from the Ministry of Local Government and Traditional Affairs, the new wages will see labourers earning P817.00 and supervisors receiving P901.00.
However, the meal allowance initiative will be discontinued and integrated into the wages.
Working hours will remain at six hours per day, and the programme will continue to focus on construction, maintenance of public facilities, and environmental restoration.
