The Botswana Bus Association has praised long-distance bus operators for a safe and incident-free Easter holiday.

ASSOCIATION Chairman Tiragalo Mponang told Gabz FM News that no bus accidents were reported this Easter, and all trips concluded safely. He remains hopeful that overnight travelers will also arrive without incident.

This comes in stark contrast to last year’s tragic Mamatlakala accident in South Africa, which claimed 45 lives.

The Association says this year’s record is a positive step toward building a strong culture of road safety and public confidence in bus travel.
