Building on Botswana’s ongoing gender equality efforts, the World Bank report from March 2025 highlights critical trends and opportunities to close wage and productivity gaps in entrepreneurship and employment.


The report builds on existing government policies like National Policy on Gender and Development (NPGAD) and the Second Transitional NDP, stressing the need for continued reforms and investment to remove barriers for women in business and the workforce.
