CHILD WELFARE MINISTRY TO STRENGTHEN CHILD PROTECTION PROGRAMS.

The Ministry of Child Welfare and Basic Education says it is working to enhance the execution of child protection measures under the Children’s Act of 2009.

According to Minister Nono Kgafela Mokoka, plans are underway to educate parents and communities on child welfare, address child neglect, and ensure child protection services are available in all villages.

Mokoka said the goal is to ensure children's safety, particularly during weekends and school holidays when they are most vulnerable.
