FORMER MINISTER KABO MORWAENG ADMITS BDP’S LEGISLATIVE MISTAKES


Article By: Keba Rasekhutla Former Cabinet Minister Kabo Morwaeng has acknowledged that the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP), which has ruled for 58 years, has made serious mistakes in proposing and passing certain bills.


Addressing the media this morning, Morwaeng admitted that some of these legislative decisions were missteps that could hinder the party’s chances of retaining power. He emphasized that such mistakes should not be repeated, as they pose a significant risk to the party’s future.


Morwaeng further called for unity among former presidents, urging them to come together in a bid for reconciliation and to restore the party’s popularity.
