At least 43 employees at the Francistown Centre for the Deaf Education have embarked on an indefinite strike, demanding improved working conditions.

The workers told Gabz FM News they have not been paid their December salaries, with some saying they have since been evicted from their lodgings after failing to pay rent.

Management at the centre declined to comment on the matter.
