Police say they are investigating a hit-and-run incident in which a 77-year-old man was found dead on a gravel road in Tsau on Saturday night.

According to Acting District No. 5 Superintendent Molefhe Molefhe, a 53-year-old man from Tsau has been arrested in connection with the incident. He is suspected of being the driver involved in the fatal crash.

Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

Meanwhile, police have urged motorists to exercise caution on the roads and to report accidents immediately to avoid legal consequences.
