Police in Maun have confirmed a murder case in which a woman was killed and her partner left in critical condition at Letsholathebe Memorial Hospital. The attack is believed to have been carried out by a former lover.
Assistant Station Commander Michael Bakai told Gabz FM News that the 41-year-old woman was found with fatal head injuries, while the man appeared to have been attacked by an unknown assailant overnight. Police are actively searching for the former lover in connection with the incident.
In a separate incident, Bakai reported that a man was attacked by a crocodile on the Thamalakane River. He urged the public to exercise caution while fishing in the area.
