ODI RESIDENTS DEMAND ANSWERS OVER MYSTERIOUS WATER

Article By: Keba Rasekhutla Residents of Odi are demanding answers over water that has been seeping from underground and accumulating around homes and on roads, with the source still unclear.

Residents tell Gabz FM News the stagnant water has remained for extended periods, damaging household belongings and property and raising concerns about children coming into contact with it.

They say they are particularly worried because they do not know what is causing the water to surface or whether it poses any health or environmental risks.

Water Utilities Corporation is reportedly yet to establish the source of the water.

Residents are now calling for an urgent investigation and intervention to identify the source, assess the risks and prevent further damage to homes and property.
