Article By: Tebogo Mokoto Police in Mahalapye are investigating several rape cases that occurred over the weekend, including one involving a 10-year-old child.
Mahalapye Central Police Station Commander, Meshack Ranku, spoke to Gabz FM News, confirming the details of the cases. He explained that one incident involved a child who was sent to a tuck shop in town and was ambushed and raped.
In another case, Ranku stated that a 22-year-old woman was raped by a former lover in the Pallaroad area.
Ranku also stated that investigations are ongoing into two other serious cases—one involving a threat to kill and the other involving a threat of murder.”
