Public Criticizes Slow Response Times from Healthcare Personnel at Clinics

Frustration is growing among patients at local public clinics due to long delays in receiving care, particularly from nursing staff. Many say slow response times are negatively impacting their health and overall experience.

Speaking to Gabz FM News during a clinic tour in Gaborone yesterday, several patients said the delays have become unacceptable and are calling for immediate improvements. The community is urging the government to ensure quicker, more responsive service from healthcare personnel.

The Ministry of Health has not yet given response however previously cited understaffing as a factor contributing to the delays. Botswana nurses union is yet to give comment.
