The Botswana Congress Party (BCP) has criticized the ongoing constitutional court consultations, calling them a "sham."
Member of parliament for Kgatleng West Dr. Unity Dow, MP argues that the consultations are merely a campaign for a "yes" vote and that consultation process has already been made. She called on the government to shift its focus to more urgent matters, such as improving healthcare, repairing roads, and creating jobs.
She also revealed that the upcoming tabling of the Motion of No Confidence will reveal the true stance of lawmakers, depending on how they vote. Dr. Dow emphasized that it's not just about having the numbers, but about showing Batswana that the opposition is standing against the current leadership.
