The Botswana Patriotic Front has elected a new national executive committee that will usher the party into the 2024 general elections.
The party held a two-day extraordinary congress in Gaborone where MP for Jwaneng-Mabutsane, Mephato Reatile retained the party presidency seat.
Dr Thoko Muzila was elected vice president, unopposed, while Lawrence Ookeditse became the new secretary general.
Ford Moiteela is the new national Organising secretary amongst other positions which were contested.
Former Permanent Secretary to the president, Carter Morupisi as well as Amogelang Mokwena have been elected to the positions of National Chairperson and Publicity secretary respectively.
