Article By: Laone Molelo The government has partnered with the European Union (EU) to deliver a two-day business forum during the Global Expo.
The Botswana Investment and Trade Centre (BITC) will host the 17th Edition of the Expo and a key feature of this year’s edition will be the business forum which kick-starts today.
The Minister of Trade and Industry, Mmusi Kgafela said the EU-Botswana business forum offers locals an opportunity to explore new investment and trade opportunities between Botswana and European investors, private sector organizations, chamber of commerce, public institutions, policymakers, and financial institutions.
Kgafela said the high profile event has attracted over 500 delegates and over 4000 visitors to grace both events.
According to the minister, government is seeking to generate P30 million worth of business that includes investment deals, local spending, and sale of products.
