Former Minister of Minerals and Energy, Lefoko Moagi, is expected to appear before the Broadhurst Magistrate Court this morning on charges of corruption, money laundering, and possession of unexplained property.
According to court documents, Moagi is alleged to have concealed the origins of funds used to acquire assets, including cattle and property.
The state’s case is based on an alleged money trail linked to Chinese business entities that had dealings with his former ministry.
