GOVERNMENT SETS ASIDE P7 BILLION TO UPGRADE HEALTH FACILITIES NATIONWIDE

Government has earmarked more than P7 billion to refurbish and modernise health facilities across the country under National Development Plan 12.
Speaking during an engagement with the diplomatic corps in Gaborone, Minister of Health Stephen Modise said the funding will upgrade hospitals and clinics to meet safety standards and improve service delivery.
He added that a further P1.7 billion has been allocated for new health infrastructure projects as government moves to strengthen and stabilise the health system.
