Maun police have arrested two men in connection with stolen household goods valued at more than 200 thousand pula.
Station Commander, Superintendent Joseph Lepodise, confirmed the arrests, identifying the suspects as a 27-year-old man from Mmanaka and a 45-year-old Zimbabwean national.
Lepodise said the arrests follow a spate of break-ins reported in Maun since August, with residents complaining about burglars targeting their homes.
The stolen items include fridges, beds, stoves, microwaves, televisions, blankets, and clothes.
The two suspects remain in police custody and are expected to appear in court once investigations are complete.
