President Duma Boko has paid tribute to the late former national team coach Stanley “Hunter” Tshosane, describing him as a true leader who inspired the nation by guiding the Zebras to their first-ever AFCON qualification in 2012.

Speaking at a memorial service at the National Stadium yesterday, President Boko said Tshosane’s legacy reflected his passion, dedication to youth, and love for the country.

Minister of Sport and Arts Jacob Kelebeng hailed Tshosane as a disciplined and noble figure in football, pledging to honor the 2012 AFCON squad as part of fulfilling his wish.

Coach Tshosane passed away after a short illness on Friday 25 April and will be laid to rest on Saturday in Tati Siding.
